Quick start Controls Troubleshooting

A viewer, not a maze.

Most sessions are simple: select images, let Horizon 360 open the viewer, then use the control window when you want to fine-tune the view.

Quick start

The shortest path from photo to panorama.

1. Open Horizon 360

Launch the app on Apple Vision Pro. The picker window lets you choose images from Photos or Files.

2. Select images

Pick one image or multi-select a batch. Horizon 360 creates a queue when more than one image is selected.

3. View and adjust

The immersive viewer opens automatically. Use the control window to rotate, resize, reposition, or move through the queue.

Import photos

Horizon 360 can open images from Photos or from the Files app. Files can come from local storage, iCloud Drive, or any file provider available on your device.

For the smoothest queue experience, keep related panoramas together and select them in the order you want to view them.

Good files to try

  • 360-degree equirectangular panoramas
  • Wide panoramic photos
  • Regular flat images
  • Spatial photos

Controls

Use the companion control window to tune the viewing experience.

Rotate the view

Adjust yaw to turn the panorama around you. Recenter when you want to return to the starting orientation.

Move through the queue

Use previous and next controls to step through selected images. If you selected a batch, the queue stays ready.

Change presentation

Depending on the image, Horizon 360 can present it as a full 360 view, a curved arc, or a flat image.

Tips

Use high-resolution source images
Better source images look better when wrapped around an immersive view.
Name files clearly
Helpful filenames make it easier to build and revisit queues.
Start with a small batch
If you are testing new files or a new camera, try a few images first.

Troubleshooting

  • If an image does not look like a 360 panorama, try a known equirectangular 2:1 image.
  • If a cloud file will not load, open it in Files first so it downloads locally.
  • If the view feels offset, use the yaw controls or recenter the view.
  • If you need help, include your device model, visionOS version, and the type of image you were viewing.
